Hi All,

Anyone else running into this? On Win 10 1511 x64 I cannot get Reader DC to retain control of PDF files. Multiple times daily, Windows insists on re-associating PDFs to the Edge browser.

I can go to Default Programs, give Reader all it's defaults, and a few hours later Edge takes control again.

This shouldn't be rocket science. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
James

I'm sure that you already know how funny Windows' permissions act sometimes. I always found that if I matched the local admin account with the server admin account, it solved a lot of problems.

I've not run into the issue as mentioned, but most deployments I've done are Server 2012R2 RDS Servers.
I've been using the Adobe GPO management to handle PFD

My suggestion would be to load IE 11 and forget Edge ... may not be what you want to hear, but there's love for edge from here ...
