Is it possible to combine User Profile Disk and Folder Redirection on a Remote Desktop Session Hosts server (Win2016) ? And how do I do that ?

I've create a GPO to redirect the "Documents" folder but without any luck. The setting is not applied although other user settings in the same GPO are indeed applied.

at first :
- User Config./Policies/Win.Settings/FolderRedirection/Documents=P:\    (Setting: Basic (Redirect everyone's folder to the same location))

and later added a second GPO :
- User Config./Policies/Admin.Templ./System/UserProfiles/exclude directories in roaming profiles=Documents

Is it at all possible ?

On the Remote Desktop Session Host servers I want to redirect the (My) Documents folder to drive P:\.
On those RDSH servers I use User Profile Disks.

Drive P: is mapped to \\server\share\%username%. It's not the homedrive, it's mapped from a logonscript.

It should be easy to accomplish with a GPO, but the settings doesn't come through. Although other settings in the same GPO are applied.

Folder redirection works before drive mappings. Can't you just redirect to \\server\share\%username%?

That's what I did, no success.

I got a hint to verify the security on \\server\share\%username% (ownership for user).  Will do that when I'm at the office.

My source was right.
I changed ownership of folder \\server\share\%username%, the user is now owner and now Folder Redirection works on the RDSH server with UPD.

and BTW:
1. Documents is still selected for the UPD.

 2. GPO "Allow asynchronous user Group Policy processing when logging on through RDS" = NOT CONFIGURED
