Well, I think that's how you spell it.

What a day.  One of my clients got power back up but no internet access. I was trying to rebuild claims authentication for the IIS site that uses ADFS authentication.   The apps and servers are in house.   We can authenticate by AD but it seems the certs have to authenticate over the web.

I was working with the support tech on site and we used a SAT connection.  He connected to me and then I connected to his laptop and then we RDP to the servers.

Tried everything but could not get the app to run in house.  It timed out after several min.

So now we are trying to see if we can maintain a wireless connection to route to dns servers from the network.   In a nightmare situation , getting an app up does not seem a big deal but the monitor and manage nursing homes all over Florida and need to manage resources to problem facilities.  All the information is in the system.

I could here in the background all the drama going on there.  80 percent the Capital is w/o power.

These situations really show how long standing decisions on infrastructure have been dead wrong.  Connectivity and power have to be diversified.

I had a feeling that a little time was all that you needed.
