with the new 1803 feature pack i've noticed they introduced local admin security questions.  now answer me this.  in Professional, mainly used in businesses.. who on earth would use security questions like mothers maiden name.  Must i now know steve's mother's maiden name to reset the password?  Who's mother is this you ask?  come on Microsoft.  apparently the ones who decided to add this feature has no clue about setting up a pc in a professional environment.   Leave it on the home addition. I might not be here forever..  no one's going to know that stuff about me, nor would I want them to have this information.

I ended up using our typical local admin password as the answer to the 3 questions I was forced to have to answer.

Well, that‘s probably the difference between „deploying“ and „installing“ Windows... But, if it’s any consolation, they got this crap into Enterprise as well, if you do not disable it at deployment time.

and not the last one...

I'm installing, using, supporting MS products since MS-DOS 4.01.  I never "loved" their software, but I've always been truly convinced that MS did a good job. It worked, it was reliable, within certain limits.
And I'm grateful that I could make my living with and thanks to their software.
Until recently, let's say a couple of years. Now I often feel fooled by MS. Sad, very sad evolution.
