I have a hidden share called \apps$\
This is where I have stored my software for GPOs to deploy software.
Not sure when this happened, but I get the following errors "An unknown error occurred while data was gathered for this extension. Details: There is no such object on the server."

I am able to go to the share drive and verify the permissions are everyone read access?

Does anyone have a solution to this? Share.jpg

Do you have multiple Domain Controllers in different sites ?
If so, wait for AD en DFS-R replication.  See

I have verified both the GPC (Active Directory record and GPT (the file-base part) are replication working.

I created a test GPO in Group Policy Objects container with no policy settings
Then I created a new OU in AD add a new user in AD
Verify each was replicated to the DCs.

I also tested our SYSVOL replication and SYSVOL is working good also.

Just don't understand why Software Setting has the error.

Any other suggestions?

Did you use security filtering on the GPO ?
If so, be sure that the computer accounts have at least Read and Apply permissions.
