Had to Google this one - in order to reboot a Windows 10 computer that you are remoted into you have to use the keyboard and press Alt + F4.   The GUI clicks seem to have been removed.

This isn't "new news" - but I'd thought I'd pass it on to my friends in case you find yourself in this situation like I just did.

Anybody know why the decision was made to remove the GUI clicks?

Normally, Alt F4 just closes the foreground window. I'm surprised that MS decided to use it for a remote shutdown or reboot.

I'd simply use the shutdown command:

shutdown -r -f -t 0
