There was some talk about agile development during the MinasiCon via zoom last month.
Recently, some sort of @!#ing update changed the way my fave Android app worked, and I had a low priority mental note to look into it/fix it/something. I have an app called Speaking Alarm Clock https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wan.pclock and what I use it for is for reminders that use TTS (which I can customize) or even record my own voice. When I work on site, I have it announce "it's [time]. log what you just did." about every 40 minutes. This way, I don't get so far into my work that I can't make some notes because I forgot all the stuff I've done. The app used to say: "it's three ten PM. log what you just did." All of a sudden, it started saying "it's three colon ten PM. log what you just did." It started doing this before the Minasi-a-zoom, but after we joked about it, I became HYPER AWARE (OMG!! ARGH!! shoot me!!) of the difference, and it was making me NUTS!!!! Anyhoo, I just "fixed" it. Seems that Teh Googul's TTS engine got an update and I had to turn off the "new" way numbers are spoken. <shoot me> OMG. I just heard it, and IT WORKED CORRECTLY!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAY!!! My life. One agile update dilemma after another. ~spammy __________________ If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.
