Hi,

I have an SBE 2016 Server running on physical hardware. I am trying to P2V it so that it can be run as a VM on a 2019 Hyper-V host. I have tried various ways to P2V the SBE 2016 Server using Disk2VHD doing it as a VHD or VHDX, but when I build a new VM on the Hyper-V host and add the imaged drive it refuses to boot.

All I get is black screen with a flashing cursor (see attached) about 4 lines down the screen. If I mount the VHD's in Disk Manager on a PC I can see the contents of the VHD' fine.

Anybody have any suggestions how to fix this?

Cheers

PT
