Remember that network I was configuring...?

https://newforum.minasi.com/post/okay-i-gotta-shake-this-place-up-what-better-way-than-to-post-a-pic-10537886?pid=1311678444

In that post, I mentioned "I do not touch their current network, as it's just a pile of "stuff" on a desk, covered in dust and dirt."

I was there this week, so I snapped a few pics.

The first pic is from back in January.
The second pic is from yesterday.

Looks like they've been busy.
A SECOND Comcast Business Class Modem has appeared. (CGA4131COM)

The new one has been added to the jenga game - you can see it in the second photo.
There's always been one on the wall (third picture - that's from yesterday, as well.  I didn't snap one in January).

I consider this a testament to the idea that networks are truly living creatures... I mean, this one shows a STRONG will to live and seems determined to overcome some fairly insurmountable obstacles.

How so? If you move to the cloud, network is about the only subsystem that you still have to build and maintain yourself.

And while I am confident that the next generation of Microsoft 365 will include some kind of management plane for your switching and routing, no one but the customer themselves will be responsible for the physical cabling and placement of those devices.
