Testing Windows 10 for my student lab. The computers are in a Windows 2012 AD domain. They get a DHCP address and hit Windows DCs for DNS. The Edge browser will not load any web sites. Any other browser, including IE works. Network Location Awareness insists its on a public network. Tried disabling NLA, editing the registry to a private or domain network setting, tried different DNS servers. Nothing works. Any ideas?

With regard the Edge browser, throw it off the edge! hahaha
Its still a work in slow progress I feel.
Have you looked for updates see if they fix the issue?
Can you drag a PDF/ open a PDF with Edge?

Thanks for your reply. Interestingly, when looking at it in PowerShell, it's listed as a domain-authenticated network but in the firewall GUI, it says private and domain aren't connected. There is only one network connection listed via PowerShell or in the GUI. Turning off the firewall doesn't help. Edge won't open a PDF. Maybe I just need to blow up this box and start again. Or find a way to delete the Edge icon from the task bar in the default profile so new users won't see it.

Apologies, that was a box I was connected to that had 3 NIC's. most machines won't

Yes the new format is a problem.
Right click and unpin from Task Bar/ Unpin from Start
