I'm in search of a pdf flattener but let me explain what i'm looking for.

currently we use a product called "imageresizer"  it's a wonderful tool that allows you to scan for photos on your file server, highlight a bunch of them, right click and choose the option to "resize image"  in the background it will then start resizing the photos, and replacing the originals with the new one that has been resized automatically.

I'm looking for a tool that will do the same with pdf's.  something where i can simply right click on the document, and flatten or even compress, but have it automatically replace the original with the new using the same name so that for me it's just a right click and go process..

Is there a tool like this anywhere?

I googled PDF resizer. One of the hits was:

https://www.pdfmate.com/how-to-resize-pdf.html

Repeat the search for more hits.

The link you posted talks about changing page size, not flattening or compressing.  Thank you though.

Repeat the search anyway. There were other links. The search was pdf resizer.
