I have uploaded a VHD to my storage account in Azure. Can I attach this to a VM that I have running under the same tennant?

Thanks

Yes, when you browse to the VM, you can add a disk and choose an existing VHD on a blob.

Doesn't it have to be a Specific VHD  not a VHDX ??  Has to be a current type VHD so you may have to convert the VHDX.

Also Managed Disk.
