My laptop was stable ish, other than the mouse problem (need something to moan about otherwise its inflict damage on ...)

But it updated 2 nights ago and the display driver crashing issue is back.

Is it just me?

Out of curiosity, is that Win 10 Home or Pro.  I believe that Pro lets you have some control over the installation, of updates.  On earlier versions of Windows, I only allowed updates, at last resort.  Are updates tested before they are released?

Surface Pro 4 has improved greatly, but is still nowhere near where it should be.  IE crashes CONSTANTLY.

I'm just not getting any of these problems on my Windows 10 machines.

Surface 4 is working fine and I even have 10 on older machines that ran 7 before and no issues.  One of my Dells from 2012 runs Win10 fine.

I should be more specific.  Using EDGE with Twitter or Facebook is HORRIBLE! constant lock ups with the blue wheel of hell...

Looking for articles is fine but Chrome just works as does Firefox without the other issues...

I also have not had the issues with the drivers & Windows 10   8.1 YES!!  10 no...

I have had issues where the Facial Recognition would quit and the password box to enter your password instead was gone.    3 to 4 Hard Reboots then logging into Safe Mode another hard reboot and it will come back...

LAME!!

I've just disabled CPU Core parking, and it's a hell of a lot better

Ton,

I have a 2.5GHz i5, never seen core parking on any of the cores, but that don't mean it's not been there.

Also contrary to popular belief, I do sometimes not be at a computer!

I've installed that piece of software and as soo nas the latest attempt to conquer the world finishes, I'll reboot.
My plan to revert to Win 7 Ent 64Bit seems to have hit the "no I won't run any updates on you, casue I'm Windows Murphy edition"

Seems I don't have a quad core.
I have a dual core mobile with 2 kinda hyper thread cores.

So between beta OS, beta management tools and 50% of what I though was my CPU on a cpu intensive OS, I'm doomed.
I need to pay more attention to my world.
