Just read this morning that it will be no more.

Odd to think that the cloud strikes the cloud!

I wonder what that'll do to the PowerShell support.

I always though that a windows client was madness. Good move.
Provided they keep delivering powershell support yes.

PowerShell support in most VMware products is already outstanding and in no way tied to the C# client so it's probably going to get even better, if at all possible (those developers are going to be kept busy, after all, aren't they?).

Interesting!  I was thinking C# means .NET and most PowerShell is driven by .NET.  Thanks, Evgenij.

Was reading the actual VMWare blog entry on it. Below is a VMWare blog post that says that the new VMWare Web Client that is coming out, if you read the comments by the author, will only support 2 versions of VMWare, “…the one it’s released with and one version back for upgrade transitioning…”. They currently aren’t looking to have it work with vShpere 5.5 “…It’s highly unlikely that we’ll be able to get it to work on any version of vSphere 5.5…”. We are still running 5.5 as version 6 and above seem more cloud based infrastructure, as opposed to local internal VM's.
