I knew we had a lot of stupid people here (how else could this buffoon get elected) but it truly boggles the mind that there is anyone left supporting this con man.  Pathetic.

Not well but all versions of America since 1980 weren't good either. Reason:  American imperialism caused domestic economic stagnation.

Some supporters are sorry that they voted for Trump. Others believe that he is trying to do the right thing but is being blocked so they still support him.  Many people such as myself didn't vote for Trump or Hillary.  I don't know what makes one capitalist better than another.   The only thing could be that one of them is willing to leave more crumbs on the table for everyday people.  Other than that, they are all liars.

Don't forget that presidents are elected based on the Electoral College not the popular vote.  Hillary had 3 million more votes.

I voted for him and would again...

Do I think he is better than others?  NOPE!  Im tired of the same old bullshit that has been corrupting our country for years!!  If this goon pisses them (Dem's & Rep's) off  GOOD!!!

Nothing is ever going to change anyway so may as well piss some rich <bad word> off.

Aliens,,, Aliens landing in DC is the ONLY thing that would cause change.  And THEY would change by selling US down the river...

The "same old bullshit" is capitalism & imperialism which has infected both the Republicans & Republicrats.

This is a perfect example of how We The People have lost our collected minds...

From Stephen Miller @redsteeze

Crowd: Trump endangered the country by leaking classified info to Russia.

Same Crowd: Thank god Chelsea Manning is finally free!

It's looking more and more every day as if the Leninist (Bannon) is dismantling our government piece by piece every day.

Is that something you were looking forward to?

Just look at the cabinet: Only the AG has actual experience in the designated arena. The person running education never went to public school, has no college degree and wants to divert tax dollars to private and religious schools. DOEnergy - former head was a nuclear physicist. Current is former gov of Texas. Thought the job was about selling other nations on our oil. Housing and Urban Dev. is now being run by Ben Carson, the idiot savant who thinks health care for all is as bad a slavery.

I just hope no lasting damage is done.

While the swamp was never drained as was promised, the AG is one of the new alligators who was added to the swamp.  Not that it matters very much since the CIA is really running the country. Notice that the head of the CIA will never be called to testify, in the Russian/Trump collusion probe. Of course, the hyper nationalists & jingoists won't believe any of that.

It's too late.  The damage is lasting & it started not on Jan 20, 2017 when Trump took his oath but on Jan 20, 1965 when Lyndon Johnson took his oath with no recovery in sight.  That's when perpetual war started & there is no end in sight to that either.

Anyone here still feeling like defending their Trump vote?  Pathetic.  What a $hit$how.  6 months in and zero legislation passed - but 900+ tweets and 40+ days of golf!  Wasn't Drumpf the guy who was relentlessly bitching about Obama playing golf and taking a vacation now and then?  He's on track to spend more taxpayer money in one year on travel/security than the Obamas did in 8.  Now he's lawyering up and researching whether or not he can pardon himself.  Lovely.

Actually, it was in Nov 1963 when LBJ first took the oath of office. That just happened to be his oath after his first election to office. But I digress...

We did have a relatively calm period after Viet Nam (ended 1976) and before the 1st Gulf offensive (1990.)  Panama, Nicaragua and Grenada notwithstanding. Point being there wasn't a full-scale war with multiple deployments, etc. for that roughly 15 years.

There can be peace, but not without a functioning and fully engaged State Dept and Sec. of State. Neither of which we have or are likely to see anytime in the near future.

At this point, it's not the wars that scare me, it's the destruction of our government. Everything is being dismantled piece by piece. Who will be left to protect the citizens from the oligarchs?

I'm not sure who's quote it is. "Until philosophers become kings or kings become philosophers, there will always be chaos."

During the last presidential campaign, Marco Rubio said, "We don't need a philosopher."  Sorry Marco but that's exactly who we need. "This is a grow or die, every man from himself society." That's my quote. There is no humanism.

How about we change election day to April 16th?  That's the day after taxes are due, for non Americans here.
