I don't think you could have summed up our choices this election cycle any better.

so far the easiest part of this election cycle is knowing who I was not going to vote for...and wouldn't you know it they are the exact ones to get nominated.

it isn't the president's job to create law.  so when we "wring" our hands and complain that we are "stopping the president from working"....that shows a complete misunderstanding of how our system works.

Congress (house of representatives and the senate) are who are supposed to be doing "the work".  they are the ones who are supposed to create bills to be debated with the goal of addressing the challenges and issues of the day and then come to some sort of agreement, pass the bill on to the president to sign and execute or veto.

It is NOT the president's job to make up for congress not doing theirs.  While I get and can sympathize with Obama's frustration regarding congress not doing their job, he was 100% wrong for trying to make up for it.

Looks like the FBI released the documents from their investigation against Hillary's email:

I still don't understand why Hillary didn't stick up for herself. She should have said, 'my server was more secure than government servers'.  She would have been right.  The government uses Akamai Cloud Services & she used Big IP from F5 Networks.  Not only that, the next hop after her server was mxlogic.net owned by the one & only John McAfee. John might be considered sleezy but he knows what he's doing.  Government servers are hacked on a regular basis but the FBI directer said that Hillary's server was never hacked no matter what Guccifer said.

Biggest opening into networks are weak passwords.

Modern 2 factor logins with location awareness has some hope of stopping a cracker.

That maybe true but as I said, the FBI said that no attempts were seen. Whatever her password was, her server was more secure then government servers.

OK, will Trump survive the latest video controversy and his general attitude to the everyday person?

Apologies. My tablet autocorrect will be taken out and shot tomorrow.

IIRC, all encryption is illegal in France. I didn't know that Scotland Yard considered it illegal as well.
