That's the best New Year's present I've had in years! Thanks Mark, and hoping the old stuff gets revived as well :-)

If I can help in any way, give me a shout.

Cheers and a great 2016 to all!

- Evgenij

Mark-

I've posted this elsewhere, but it looks like we need to re-create our accounts?   Just want to confirm this.  I would think we'll need to send out an email blast or some sort of announcement that mentions this when we think things are solid enough to be up and running for the world...

Later,

Jim Adgate

Jim, I am going to do a one-time email to old members as soon as I get the email addresses extracted.  I'll cover that there.  Thanks!

Sailing under a different flag, doing the same usual stuff :-) AD, Exchange, identity management on one side, virtualization and datacenter management on the other, heavy PowerShell scripting all the way. Still haven't got around to moving away from infrastructure into the applications departent - probably won't happen anytime soon...

There's always work for us plumbers, Evgenij.  I just hate the crawling under desks to wrangle cables part. [smile]

" That's the best New Year's present I've had in years! "

Evgenij, I cannot agree more!

I was active on the old forum (IIRC) between 2003 and 2014 and considered its demise to have been a great loss.

The old forum was the best place to post questions and obtain help and advice from qualified trustworthy people.

I missed it very much and am glad to see it back in its new form.

At first glance, I like it.

It makes sense to have a single Windows Server section. Previously, there was a section for 2003, 2003 R2, 2008, 2008 R2 and you would have to look all over for server questions. With 2012 and 2012 R2 and 2016 around the corner, you might as well just have a single, simple section for this. Good choice.

Now, I'm going to look around some more, see who else is back!

Hi All,

Why on Earth nobody told me that this great forum is already online? [smile]
Anyway, it's nice to be back and hope that I can also contribute or share my knowledge.

Thank you for making this available once again.

Hat off to you Mark and all others that may have assisted, really appreciate a fine place on the internet.

IF or when another Minasi Conference might ever be held, a 'Toast' would be appropriate.

//Chris
