If you use business or education "Google Apps" for work, you can use the free Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gappssync I use it and it works OK. However, my wife uses free Gmail for her email and Google Apps Sync doesn't support the free Gmail service (I tried). There doesn't seem to be a native way for her to sync her Outlook Contacts with Contacts in Gmail & vice-versa. I found a great free app called GO Contact Sync Mod that fills this gap: http://sourceforge.net/projects/googlesyncmod I had this installed on her old machine so all of her Contacts were stored up on her Gmail account. When she recently got a new computer I simply installed GO Contact Sync Mod on her new machine and in 60 seconds she had all of her Contacts back in Outlook. I've used this on Outlook 2010 & 2013 and just used it on a 2016 install.

Eric- I have used this utility to sync my android phone, gmail, and Outlook (Office 365) and visa versa. While it does add contacts, I have noticed that a lot of duplicate information and contacts get created in the process, esp. on my phone. I guess that's probably better than having them deleted. If you have a few hundred contacts, NBD. If you have a few thousand, it becomes a headache. I have also found that getting the right fields to map between Lookout and google can be a challenge. It would also be nice if I could schedule the sync to happen on a weekly basis; right now it's a manual process. With that said, the price is right (free) although I did donate a few bucks to the developer after stumbling around trying to find a replacement when Google got all Sauron Middle Earthish (1 data repository to rule them all) and decided that it should be the center of the universe and stopped supporting syncing with other common data sources for contacts, such as Outlook.. My $0.02... Jim
