Hi all,

Are there any risks, problems, things to worry about, when moving a workstation from one domain to another.

This is a testing PC.  It was imaged in Domain A.  Moved to Domain B.  Now moved back to Domain A.    While in Domain B, no apps were installed or ran.

Just looking to verify that testing can proceed on the workstation now that it's back in Domain A- That nothing weird with permissions or anything might occur because of its joining Domain B.

Or should we just reimage the PC again in Domain A. And start from scratch.

That's about the best I can explain what the situation is.

Thanks!

You should be OK. The only risk I can think of is that GPOs may have done something irreversible.

...another one I once ran into was identical user names in both domains leaving profile folders under c:\users so that the 2nd one became c:\users\userX.DOMAIN instead of c:\users\userX. There were, however, some settings in an INI file that had come from the roaming profile where the shorter path was tattooed.
