I've run Willems script , see https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/389thoughts/2016/09/14/find-objects-in-lostandfound-for-all-partitions/ , to find objects in the LostAndFound container.

I have this:
LostAndFound.png
black=my domain
red=an old DC, doesn't exist anymore
green=an old member server, doesn't exist either

Can I safely delete those three objects ?

The second line is an object in the container "NTFRS..." (the first line).

Hi Pieter,

Glad you read and enjoyed the blog! This is a typical example of a failed demotion. You can remove those objects, no problem.

I have had one or two reports like that before. It's part of TechNet blogs, which can use authentication. Could you try using an inprivate browsing session?

It doesn't display in Chrome.
Got it to work in Firefox.

I logged a ticket, but am not hopeful. We'll see how far the blog admins can get with this. I have no repro myself, unfortunately.

Willem

Give them my details.
I can reproduce on demand on Chrome.
In Chrome I see a total of 2 posts over 2 pages.
On Firefox 14 over 2 pages
On IE I also see 14 over 2 pages
