Orlando could DBL for a Minasi \ Family trip so I would be interested in making it happen.  Dallas to Orlando would not be an issue.

Not really.  Taking Dublin for example, the difference in flight time for Orlando and SF is 80 minutes.  No directs at all from Copenhagen to Orlando so SF is actually less travel time, and considerably less depending on the connection.

Now if we do somewhere where everyon can fly direct, like New York for example (with 3 different airports to accommodate all kinds of origins) then that saves EU folks 2-3 hours of travel time.

Curt and I were responding to each other, not to the idea of Orlando :-)

Yeah, Atlanta is the hub.

We also have the Microsoft Innovation Center down town Atlanta.   I believe meeting rooms for events are available there for us.

But the fact is I would really like to see Mark's thoughts on all of this.

I'm looking at the non stops from Dublin to Atlanta as I type.   Non stop direct flight.

Delta.   Not a problem.
Except it's not free.  And Uber can pick you up.

Sorry, I'm not following... I know it's an international airport but I also know we've got folks in Dublin/Copenhagen and there are no direct flights.  Unless google flights is letting me down? (entirely possible)

Ah got it - just double the price.  Dunno why google flights is showing no nonstops!

The idea that we are going to be able to have a location that every person has a non-stop flight isn't based in reality. It's all going to boil down to if Mark has time, and where it's the most convenient for him.

Agreed. That's the point and how can we make it easy for them.

Not that it would do you any good...

If you all decide to meet in LA...don't each get a car, get BIG tour buses so you can continue the presentations while you wait in track on your way to whatever activity you all planned do together.
