Many people still believe modern myths. Myths like Apple can't be hacked, or your safe if you have a firewall.
One myth is : Young people understand Technology. I was with a few younger folks the other day. One is really into hardware and is upgrading machines and fixing broken phones and tablets. He and I were discussing new hardware. Some of these young men seemed out of the conversation so I attempted to draw them in. I asked another one of them about the same age "Do you know what a hard disk is?". He replied that he did not, but then his friend chimed in and said. "You know when you go to Red box and get a movie? That's a Hard disk". ............................ I did not laugh too much!!!!!!!!!!!!! Typical. Only a few people "REALLY" went into IT. As for the rest???????????? __________________ Curt Spanburgh

They are the future. The future of what is another question.

True. They grow up using computers, not understanding them. My 14 year old son (much smarter than me) has only a vague idea of the difference between memory and disks, and no idea what a CPU is. I guess he doesn't need to know for what he does.
