Hello,

I am building out a small test lab for a scenario that I need to test for one of my clients. There production environmental is running Exchange 2010 and they have a domain running 2012 R2 domain controllers. So I built the same thing in my test lab. When I try to prepare the forest and domain using the command

Setup /pad

I receive an error right away stating setup has encountered an error. Then the setup application terminates.

I am doing the setup from Exchange 2010 SP3 media. The setup does not create any logs so I do not have anything to working with in regards to this error.

Any help would be appropriated.

Thanks,
Joel

Yea. The account I am using is a member of the scheme admins, the enterprise admins and a local administrator on the machine.
