Server 2016 Std with error in the DNS log file that has been a plague for quite some time.  Error message is:
The DNS server was unable to create a resource record for  ee8c1750-de4f-4cd9-9ff5-2685525b39e7._msdcs.domain_name.com. in zone domain_name.com. The Active Directory definition of this resource record is corrupt or contains an invalid DNS name. The event data contains the error.
I actually have two of these that generate one after the other anywhere from a couple minutes apart to an hour or more apart.  I have been through a few articles dealing with this.  I did not manually create the mscdcs record.  Been a while since I worked to get rid of this but followed the steps listed in https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/9240ae89-5e19-4c8b-a4cc-a2963bd5c8dd/dns-event-4010 and the error still reports.

Does the zone _msdcs.domain.com exist?

Yes, it exists in the forward lookup zone.

And what about the parent domain (domain.com), what does it have to say about _msdcs; does it have a delegation, a subdomain, or neither?

It has a record which I assume is a subdomain within the parent domain.com.  The only entry for it lists it as Name:  (same as parent folder), Type:  Name Server (NS), Data:  servername.domain.com and Timestamp:  static.  Should it contain more information than this?

That's a delegation pointing to a DNS server that has the actual zone with the subdomain. So you have the delegation and the zone, correct? That seems to be OK, then.

- Does this record exist in the zone: ee8c1750-de4f-4cd9-9ff5-2685525b39e7._msdcs.domain_name.com? It should.
- Did you try to run dcdiag on both DCs? Any complaints about bad DNS?
- Verify replication; the following should show no errors, and replication within 1h: repadmin /replsum
