I'm not a Citrix guys, so had a quick question. We have users that, when they log into Citrix on one computer, the Citrix applications have problems. But if they use a different computer to log into Citrix, the Citrix profile seems fine and the applications work. So does Citrix create a Citrix profile based on the user (regardless what computer they use the Citrix profile is the same) or based on the computer (so each computer they log into creates a new Citrix profile on the Citrix server so they end up with multiple Citrix profiles if they use multiple computers)? I always thought it was the first one, so regardless of which computer you use, your Citrix profile is the same, so if an application in Citrix doesn't work when logged into one computer, it won't work if they try using a different computer. But if it's the second one, then that would explain why the user has a corrupted Citrix profile on one computer and so have issues with applications, but if they use a different computer, all the applications work fine.

Which computer has problems & which doesn't? For example Win 7 vs Win 10?

Well, that would depend on what's in place for profile management. Do the applications in question use file type redirection and/or local app access? Are Receiver versions on the clients identical? Is SSO configured? Can you determine if they are always connecting to the same XenApp or VDI machine? So no quick answer here, I'm afraid, without knowing the infrastructure ...

Unfortunately, I don't know how our infrastructure is set up. That's why I have questions. So I guess I need to ask the Citrix guys about the infrastructure. But last time I asked, they didn't respond, which is why I was asking on here.
