Any Audio files experts out there?

I'm trying to use O365 video portal and I'm having issues with file format.  The original file format is a .wma.  I've tried converting it into .mp4, mp3, .aac none of them will work.

What's the trick to converting a .wma to a supported file format found here https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Video-formats-that-work-in-Office-365-Video-dd1af01c-fd8e-4640-b17b-93ee02b9b817?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US

TIA

I know something about audio files, but I'm wondering what the problem is, exactly? The URL you reference says explicitly that WMA is supported.

I totally agree with your logic but per MS over seas support.  WMA compression is supported but not the file it's self.  Once again confusing MS documentation that leads to total frustration.

I just want to be able to upload audio files and store them in the video platform.  I've tried everything I know and found searching the web.

ah yes, I tried it and see what you mean. It looks like you can upload only video containers, which may contain WMA as a supported audio stream. So you need to create a simple video (static pic maybe) and drop your WMA into it.

Thank you for explaining it that way. So helpful. Thank you. I'll give it a try.
