Hi friends.

I'm running two Win2012 Hyper-v boxes.  The best one is only a quad core with 32 GB of memory.

Now I'm not using dynamic memory on the SQL server, but I wonder what other settings I can do to get as much as I can out of the host.

The other box has only 8 gig for now.    Looking to upgrade one of my unused towers for a 8 core 64 GB black box machine that is cool and quiet.   I have a WS with 8 core and 8 GB for Dev, etc.

Well, Yeah Les, that would be ok on the hardware side.  I was thinking more on the Hyper-v side of things.
