Yes, Trump (and just about every republican out there) complained for 8 years about the Obama vacations (he actually took far less vacation days than his predecessors).

Well the tally is in and over 8 years the vacation/security spending was less than $1 million per month.

In his first month, Trump has gone to his vacation palace in Florida THREE times, played a record amount of golf, and his son went on a Trump Tower business trip to South America on the taxpayer dime.  The one-month total to taxpayers?  Over ELEVEN million.  He's spending at a rate more than 10x Obama, and yes, nothing but crickets from the people who were up in arms before.

Not to mention how tourism here is already on a downward slide thanks to their ill-conceived travel ban and general unfriendliness and isolationism.  Embarrassing times to be an American.

As for the press, generally they are starting to do a decent job (where were they last year when they were propping up this bloated fool?) of sticking together, just like they did when the Obama administration tried to block Fox News from interviewing a new appointment that one time.

As horrible as Pence is, I'm assuming/hoping that once congress has the chance they'll impeach and install the man they want in there anyway.  His politics are pretty disgusting on the domestic front, but at least he's far less likely to cause WW3 or get my little island here blown up by NoKo.

They have never done a decent job.  They have always been controlled by the CIA & other organizations such as Bilderberg & even Skull & Bones.  You will never hear how American Imperialism caused domestic economic stagnation unless you listen to WBAI

We waste our time arguing who is better, Republicans or Republicrats.  They are the same!!!

Personally, I'm happy to see runaway immigration calmed down as much as possible.  As a former blue-collar worker who:

Has been laid off and seen manufacturing close

Who then worked 12 hour nights and went to school during the day to get a degree in computer science

Only to then see companies like Disney and Suntrust fire fellow IT people and see companies no longer hire me as an employee but rather bring me on as a totally expendable contractor.

So, yes, I'm happy to see immigration get ramped down a bit.

Don't be fooled.  The type of immigration that you see being attacked has nothing to do with you being ignored as a possible IT employee. What kills people like you is the H1B Visa which Trump still supports   That's where an employer claims that he can't find an experienced person to fill the job.  The employer is supposed to advertise for 3 weeks, to prove that so he advertises in some neighborhood where there is no chance of finding a qualified applicant but there is some Indian programmer waiting to take your job for less.

I heard Trump say that he wants to expand the H1B Visa Program but some of his other actions my do that opposite.

Details on both options are unclear.

I don't think that even he knows what the consequences are of anything that he might do.  Either way, it's the H1Bs that affect IT workers not the border wall.
